Being Trauma-Informed in Cambodia: Practice Considerations for Professionals Working with Children and Trauma

Hagar USA Executive Director and former Hagar Cambodia Executive Director, Mike Nowlin, recently partnered with international scholars in publishing ground-breaking research on how trauma informed care principles can be implemented into the education system. Mike and his co-authors explore the ways in which the trauma informed care model is used by Hagar Cambodia, drawing on the experiences of therapists and educators working with traumatised children within this context.

We are proud to be a part of a global team who conduct innovative and much needed research that impacts the lives of many individuals. We strive to ensure all of our practices are best practices, fostering a learning environment for our staff in order to do so. Well done Mike, Zoe, Elizabeth, and Selma!
