Hagar will be at Urbana 2012, and we can’t wait to see you!  Start learning how women and children from devastating backgrounds really can become whole again.  Then, we’ll have more to share with you when we meet at the conference.  Please come see us in the exhibit hall.

Until then, read the story of one transformed life:

A boy like Thi: Betrayed by the parents he loved, Thi was sold at age five. He was taken to Bangkok and forced to beg. At eight, he endured two years of jail before coming to Hagar. Upon arrival he was traumatized, sick, and entirely uneducated. Now, Thi is catching up in school. He’s praised for his work ethic and good behavior. For Thi, education is breaking a cycle of poverty and abuse.
