I Never Thought It Could Happen to Boys, January 2008. This is an exploratory study of sexual abuse and exploitation of boys in Cambodia. Research was conducted by Hagar in partnership with World Vision. Hagar’s program to serve boy victims of sexual abuse, established in May 2009, is based on recommendations from this research.
The Road Home, March 2007. This research, commissioned by Hagar and World Vision, explores a model of reintegration and alternative care for children trafficked for sex in Cambodia.
Caring for Children from Commercially Sexually Exploitive Situations, October 2004. This research explored current practices of care for girls trafficked for sex in Cambodia and laid out recommendations and best practices for high quality care. Findings were used to design Hagar’s Aftercare program, launched in 2005.
